One of the luxuries in my life is the ability to see my family frequently, despite the fact that most of them live 800 miles away. My sister has three daughters and my cousin has two children, and it’s a rarity to have both families trek out to Utah at the same time. Luckily, we were able to spend a few lazy evenings together, rolling in the grass and playing on the homemade swing. I brought along a 35mm camera and some black and white film that expired in the 90s to capture my nieces and cousins frolicking about. The resulting images are some of my most favorite I have ever taken and truly express what I try to capture with every family I photograph. Take a look.
